The Hi-Tech Healthcare Park developed by Hoa Lam Health Co., Ltd (Hoa Lam Shangri-La) was established from the desire to provide a hospital system meeting the needs of health care for millions of people. The project is expected to be a world-class health care system to satisfy the increasing demand for comprehensive health care services, serving the needs of 9 million people in the city as well as surrounding areas including 12 provinces with approximately 25 million people. The HCMC People’s Committee issued the investment license for this project in July 2008. As scheduled, the Hi-Tech Healthcare Park will be completed within 10 years.

Location
The Hi-tech Healthcare Park is 375,631 m², located at 532A Kinh Duong Vuong, Binh Tri Dong B Ward, Binh Tan District, HCMC about 10 kilometers away from the City center. Furthermore, the Hi-Tech Healthcare Park is in a favorable location, easy exit to National Highway 1A and the East-West Highway (Vo Van Kiet Street) that makes a convenient access for patients in Ho Chi Minh City and from the North, South and West areas. Additionally, the Long Thanh-Dong Nai Expressway, commuting to the international airport in Ho Chi Minh City, will make this project become an ideal place for traveling, medical tourism and resort in the future.

Size:
The Hi-Tech Healthcare Park will consist of 6 advanced hospitals including 1 general hospital, 5 specialized hospitals and assistance centers with capacity of 1,750 beds. The investment focuses on 4 main fields: health, education, assistance service and community service facilities. Specifcially, there are hospitals, laboratories, clinics, outpatient departments, residential housings, healthcare exhibition centers, shopping malls, commercial apartments, international schools and community areas. The project also includes a dedicated heliport for emergency medical transportation service. Indeed, this project will generate jobs for approximately 10,000 employees when it is put into operation. It is considered as the very first high-quality “Medical City” in Vietnam.
